ok, i will post a variance story.

So jason_t, klepton, and i are crashing at rmarottis place during bunkfest, and for some stupid reason we decide to go to foxwoods. worst casino ever, btw. (except for high stakes bingo, which im totally going back for.) So we get there, and i decide to play 20/40. I immediatly drop like 2 rack, the first going within the first 20 minutes at the table. This isnt relevant to the story, but very exciting for me. oh yeah, i ended the session about many hours later up something like 6 racks or something stupid. Also, not relevent.

fast forward a day or something. im not sure. Im sitting in a decent 20/40 game, and klepton gets moved in. he posts in the CO. Its folded to him, and he raises. Im excited. Button folds, im in the sb and have K6s. I call. BB calls. the BB was this youngerish guy, wearing a very exciting hat and beard. He looked either very hickish, or very cool. And he was an okay plaer who i hadnt seen do much. He did like to call though. We go to the flop.

which comes down, 5 3 7, all hearts. I do a little happy dance with my imaginary girlfriend behind me. (she doesnt talk much, but she gives great head), and then check or something. utg maybe bets, kelpton maybe call or raises, and i call or 3bet. or something. As we go to the turn, im thinking about visions of that dinner for one im going to take my imaginary gf out to. We got to the turn for more than a racks worth of bets.

the turn was not a heart. nor did it pair the board. Other than that, i didnt care about it. I check, then raise later, or maybe i dont. Im not sure. I do know ive now put a rack in the middle. Im thinking that the big blind, who doesnt seem stupid, is caught in a raising war between klepton and i with maybe top pair and an Ah kicker, or something. Klepton is pretty aggro, but by the time we go to the river im really thinking ive got him beat. Naturally.

the river is a safe card. some bets go in the middle, but then all of a sudden, BB raises. my mouth drops, my testicles shrivel up, and my gf starts talking to the old guy with all the jewelry. holy. [censored]. I call. I think 3 bets might have gone in there. Im not sure, but i know no one raised the BB.

So, dealer says to roll the cards. The table is anxious, cause they know that klepton and i are both hyper aggressive maniacs who will soon be broke, and then it happens. The BB rolls over Ah 8h.

I show my king high flush. And klepton then rolls his Q high flush. Klepton gives me a look, which i take to mean either
"hey, whatta ya gonna do?" or, "Youre bigger than him, lets beat his ass in the parking lot"

I later bought jason_t breakfast cause he figured out the odds for that happening. It was big. I also bought him breakfast cause hes sexxxy.
