Villian is a decent tag. I check the turn here because the only hand I'm getting value from is KQ and I'm getting checkraised by KJ and AQ. River pairs counterfitting KJ. Any fold to a 3bet if it's forthcoming?

I think you need to call a 3-bet as KJ may think he has you beat. Personally I think we should just bet/call the turn.

I bet the turn also and call the river if check raised.

Are you serious? I either have the nuts, a draw to the nuts, an overpair, TPTK, or a set. There is noway a semi bluff ever ever ever ever works here.

i've definitely been checkraised by these hands before by so called decent tags.

esp. AK, KQ as those aren't semibluffs, but value raises (in their eyes)

Maybe I'm giving my opp. too much credit. FWIW I'm pretty sure AK caps preflop here. In any case you are advocating betting the turn? I was pretty sure a check was right, but I suck so you're probably right.

I'm definately betting this turn. I think he will call with hands that you are ahead of... AK, any Q, 2 spades maybe even AJ. If he has either a straight or flush draw, you have a nice edge and definately want to bet. If I get checked raised, I would just call the river.
