Default Length of a Party Poker SNG with 800 chips???

What is the average length of a party SNG when you start with 800 in chips? ahhhh yeah i said that twice now. I tried to find out what the blind levels were and the lengths of them, but i can't find the SNG lobby for each one like on PS. I am not sure if they have one or not though. never played there and am thinking of putting a couple of bucks in to try it out. Thanks

It's somewhere between 30-40 minutes. Sometimes you get some that last up near 50 minutes, and some a little shorter than average.

30-40 is quicker than a PS turbo. the 200-400 round starts at 35mins. And they usually go till 4/8 which would start at 45...hmmm not bad. K thanks a lot

yeah, i played a few stars turbos expecting them to be like, fast. they weren't. i was depressed. i drank. turns out alcohol is a depressant. i fell asleep. i woke up, and forgot the whole thing. played more turbos, got depressed again. then got angry. then went back to play party sngs.

shouldnt these faster Party SNGs favor the players with less talent? It seems to me like the party SNGs become a crapshoot way too fast and it just becomes a push or fold tournament in no time.

Its not that Party SNGs require "less talent" than big MTT tournaments and ring games, it that it requires a different kind of talent and a variation in the set of skills needed to win. But this is discussed almost daily.

That's exactly what it is. But, it's beatable with knowledge and application of the math involved.

Played one the other night where I lost with AA first hand. The AleoMagus spreadsheet lists the Duration as 0 minutes. I guess my hourly rate would be -Infinity assuming I can keep up that pace.
