Increase bankroll or 2001FP?
I'll be getting a nice big check in the mail for ~$600. I can either add to my current bankroll (which would about double it) or snatch a 2001FP.
Also, are there any updated coupons for the 2001FP? The best deal I could find from past posts this month would get it shipped to me for $571 with a couple of coupons.

Definitely double that bad boy. With a roll so small, if you feel comfortable, it will let you move up faster.

I am having the same problem knowing when to put some money out of to increase the bank roll. Right now i am just increasing the roll and trying to figure out when is a good time to start bringing some of the money home.

I said double the bankroll but maybe some info on what limits you play, how many tables usually and the monitor you have now would help.

[/ QUOTE ] Right this second I just completed the Party 20% bonus and am playing .50/1 working on my game after about a 2-3 week break. I usually play 1/2. Current monitor is a 17" Viewsonic A70f+, max res. 1280x1024. I can only really do 2 tables, as 3 or 4 gives too much overlap to deal with.

Alright, I'll stick with the double the roll answer. The added money should enable you to take advantage of some sign up offers and you could build that up quick enough if you haven't done all of the Party skins or the IGMPAY bonuses.

if you have the space, buy a 1600X12000 crt for about 1/4 the price of the 2001fp.
that way you can 4 table and increease your roll. also, I would be hesitant in spending non-poker money for a poker indulgence. wait until you've won a couple thousand playing poker, then splurge on a $500 purchase.

Wow Russ, I am in pretty much the same boat as you. When I first saw this post, I thought you pulled it straight outta my head.
I have talked about the same situation with a friend of mine, and I have decided to wait it out a little bit, and gain a bankroll large enough to support the 4-tabling of 1/2 comfortably, and purchase the monitor. I've set the mark at $1700 before I get the monitor. Good luck with whatever you decide.
