Default My new strategy to improve my game.

My confidence is low since my recent 20k breakeven streak. I'm beating the 3/6 game but not at a very good rate. And I'm unhappy when I have big losing session.

Obviously if I could improve my game I'd feel much better about poker and perhaps even about myself. But I'm having trouble identifying any obvious leaks so I'm at a loss as to how to play better.

Then I had an epiphany. I realized I'd do much better if I knew what my opponents hole cards were before the flop. I'm sure I'd do much better at maximizing my wins and minimizing my losses and even my bluffing would get better. Such an easy step to improving not just my PF play but my play on every street.

In retrospect it just seems so obvious...

On the other hand, this simple strategy (knowing my opponents hole cards) isn't mentioned anywhere in SSH--not even in a footnote. That's puzzling to say the least.

Implementation of my new strategy may be difficult though...

Pattern mapping E-books will be seen as the great American literature 100 years from now.

Did You Know: That after winning a hand your odds are 10% to win the next hand in a full ring game on Party Poker? With facts like that, how can we ignore the results of pattern mappers! They've figured out the percentages and our taking all of our profits.
