Default Stud 8 Tourney Hand - Buried Aces

Did I play these too aggressively on 5th and 6th street? I bet 6th so I wouldn't be sick if he leads the river with just a low.

I find greenage's converted hands easier to read.

I would usually bring it in for the minimum with the idea of popping it when it came back to me. When it's two bets back to you, though, I would probably just call. It is very unlikely that the original raiser will fold, and you have a dead hand. Actually, this would probably have been a good time to bring it in for the full bet.

I'm not sure what you mean by this:

Are you planning on folding if he bets on the river?

I started out saying that I'd take the free card on sixth, but I think betting is superior. By this point, it's apparent that the other guy has the other two Aces. Nothing else makes sense. He probably wouldn't have raised third with a three-card low that includes an Eight. If the Four had paired him, he would likely have folded fifth. Presumably, he'd bet sixth with a low. Maybe he has pocket Kings, but in any case, you should be winning, and he only has one card to draw out on you.
