The NYT. Just gotta luv 'em. Such high standards. (All the news that fits, we print. If it don't fit, we ain't gunna ah-quit.) Always on the cutting edge. (especially if there's blood involved.) Always aiming for the moral high ground. (well, maybe with a few exceptions so's we satisfy our progressive customers, of which we have a multitude, and they all keep paying for their subscriptions, and they just eat this raw meat up like crazy)

Let me preemptively summarize this thread:

- the NYT is a dirty liberal rag
- liberals love celebrating dead Americans

Jaxmike? Hi!

Let me take this opportunity to point out that conservatives love to eat babies and kittens.

lol, this wasn't what I think of NYT (which I happen to enjoy and read online every day).

It was merely my attempt to predict the direction of this thread, as it was headed down a rather predictable path. I think you've probably been here long enough (longer than I have, to be sure) to know that anything with NYT in the thread title/in a link within the thread immediately sets off red flags within the board's right-wing community - who won't miss an opportunity to let those NYT-lovin-liberals get theirs. Replace 'NYT' with 'FoxNews' and you'll get a similar phenomenon from the left.

------------------------------

Or perhaps maybe I am jaxmike?

Chayknee did nothing illegal!

My fault. I'm angry and ready to pounce on people today.

I actually did laugh out loud at this. Nice.

Just to throw this out there. It is NOT illegal for Cheyne to know Plame was in the CIA and/or was covert (whether he did or not know BOTH is irrelevant). Second, it is NOT illegal for Cheyne to TELL his Chief of Staff this information.

[/ QUOTE ]

The first one could have been a typo. The second one raises some serious questions.

I'm petty everyday. Spelling critiques are lame. Let me try to add some content:

Does anyone else find compulsory registration to access free content annoying? While I admit I read the NYT almost everyday, I disapprove of their (and other website's) lame registration policies to access free content.

I recommend BugMeNot to anyone who would like to circumvent such registrations. Probably already well known, but it may help some. That's about the only relevant thing I have to say here.

in another thread he also refers to "Carl Rove". guess he doesn't read a lot--who knows, maybe some day he'll be president.
