Default AQs, looks like Aces or looks like 72o?

$45, 150 entrants. Top 15 paid. 1500 TC to start, 20 minute rounds.

Blinds 50-100, Hero has ~1200 TC and has played exactly zero hands so far, other than 2 blind hands.

UTG moves all-in quickly for 525 TC. Hero is dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG+1. There are still over 100 players still in. Hero is probably 4th lowest stack on the table.

I think calling here is clearly wrong so the only two options are all-in or fold. Hero has been dealt abysmal cards so far through the first 2 rounds and the blinds are about 5 hands away from going up to 150-300. Is this a good enough spot to get the money in or should hero wait?

Theres no 100-200 level? If so this is a really easy push. Even if the next level was 100-200 you still gotta push imo.

This is an easy push. UTG looks like he is taking his best shot before he is neutered by the blinds.

Yeah, I thought for about half a second before quickly pushing all-in. UTG had 33. I did not improve.

You have no idea how close I was.

Board: 8-7-7-5-4

So, so very evil.

Is this online or live? I think it makes a big difference as 20 minutes online is a very long round, while it is a lightning fast pace at a Brick and Morter.

I suspect it was online unless you have been hanging out at the Seminole Casino, hehe. I would push.

WHOA you are, like, alive!

It was live. I never seem to catch cards in these live tourneys. AQs looked awesome compared to the trash I've been seeing.
