Default 25/50 NL headsup

25/50 NL FullTilt

Villian ($4800)
Hero ($2075)

Reads: Villian is very aggessive, but not stupid. He slows down sometimes when he feels like I'm slowplaying. Cards haven't been favoring either of us, both of us are getting some big hands.

Hero is dealt: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in BB

Preflop: Villian raises to $150 on Button, Hero calls.

Flop: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Action: Hero checks, Villian bets $200, Hero calls.

Turn: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Action: Hero checks, Villian bets $700, Hero calls.

River: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Action: Hero pushes for $1025...

Thoughts/comments on each street appreciated.

I think that would've given away the strength of my hand. Villian definetely has a king here given his huge continuation bet on the turn. I want him to make a big mistake and call me down.

You don't think he'd call anyway?

It's only a pot-sized raise.

So you are hoping he reads the river push as a bluff?

Yeti, I normally fold A2o preflop but in this particular scenario, Villian has raised preflop about six straight hands and I decided to make a stand.

Ok.

I probably do move in on the turn if you're now convinced he has a K but your way is fine too.

deciding to make a stand would be to reraise him preflop, thats what you have to do against these types, they love to control the game but you have to take that control away from them, if he's raising raising raising, then come over the top of him once in a while, it'll slow him up.

Are you serious? Folding A2o facing a normal potsize opener from aggressive player in a two handed game?
