told a black dealer to go back to Africa.

hence a BIG reason why I don't play live very much.
Why would I voluntarily want to deal with jerk-offs like this?
Guys like this are unfortunately not that much of an exception in my experience.

I went down to the grand on Thursday and played some limit and single-table satellites and found the whole scene to be run pretty well (would have been nicer if I hadn't dropped $1000 in just a few measly hours).

Still haven't met the elusive Chip777 yet but I'm sure that will happen eventually.

Chipr777 is a hell of a nice guy and a benefit to the forum and to poker in general. Although every 2+2'r I have met so far has been very nice, I am certain that if chipr777 is down on them, they have it coming.

I was down at The Grand on Saturday and played some 4-8. I was pleasantly surprised with about everything. I realize there isn't near the attraction for this tourney as there seems to be for the WPO but everything went so smooth. It really seemed like the staff had control.

Plus I left winner. Maybe that was it.

At least you can be reasonably sure only one or two of your players got their bankrolls by stealing your other customers' bikes.

I'm a big fan of the biketheft jokes as you can see by my avatar/location, but I don't get this one. What did this have to do with the OP?

[/ QUOTE ]

Nothing. Random biketheft jokes are the last thing anyone would expect in this thread, so I figured it'd lighten the mood of an otherwise way too serious post. Meh, guess I was wrong.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm glad this clarification was made, because otherwise people may have started making assumptions about who the 2+2er was.

I don't know either. The private PM I received from him came from the name "I'm sorry".. or something like that.

Don't get all bent about this, but I do have a question.

I've been to the Grand many times, and a I've seen quite a few members of the staff who actually ARE immigrants from Africa (or possibly the Caribbean). Is the dealer an immigrant, or is he a black American? Would you be offended if someone told the red-headed, freckled Seamus O'Callahan to go back to Ireland?

Oh. That makes sense. I guess we should disband the Immigration Department, and tell that group watching the border in Arizona to go back to their homes.

Technically they already did get rid of INS.

I do think that the minutemen watching our border need to be sent home. Nothing good can come from pissed off and beered up hillbillies with guns looking for minorities.

They are certainly the exception. The problem is they stick out and can ruin it for everyone. One bad apple...
