Default Playing pairs preflop

So, from what I just read over in the "leaking posts" it seems to me that people are recommending that high pairs QQ - AA, play better heads up or to a smaller field.

When holding the high pairs (with or without the low draw) do you raise from early and middle position to try and knock out players, or is this overly aggressive? I suppose a re-raise from middle position might knock more hands out, but I don't see many early position raises in this game.

Thanks,

Ironman Dave

I only like to raise with a high pair in late position. If you can "buy" the button with a pair of aces, you would obviously be in the drivers seat.

But yeah, like hold'em, you are trying to get heads up with a pair of aces.
