Default 5/10 NL - Top set - Did I butcher this or is this standard?

I would go ahead and stick it in there on the flop, but your line is reasonable.

why check the turn? essentially i think you need to decide if you have the best hand, and if so play it for value, if not, make the appropriate play considering you have 9/10 outs

btw i always consider myself nutted with top or second set on these monotone flops UNLESS i have more than 150 bbs...

i think you could fold the turn here against the right players

Oh yeah, very important to mention that I had only been at the table less than 10 hands and had no read whatsoever.
