Default Poker in Reno

Heading out to Reno tomorrow. I have read many times here that there is not much poker there. I know where they have games, but what would people suggest as the best place to play 6/12 - 10/20. Anyone played in a game or 2 recently in Reno.

I've played there recently. There is 6/12 with half-kill at the El Dorado in downtown Reno. Peppermill has up to 20/40 sometimes at nights/weekends. I think Reno Hilton has upto 20/40 sometimes nights/weekends. I would just give each of the poker rooms a call and see what games are going at the time.

They said they were gonna start a 8/16 game on weekends at ElDorado. Peppermill is 10/20+ depending on day and demand I think.

Call them both first, as I'm nowhere close to sure.

This is a good information to know but can you expand on the texture of the games. Are there fish in the 20/40? Do they play well in the 10/20? Is there more tourists at the El Dorado, so more fish, or at the Peppermill?
