Default Dark check gone right...I think.

$2-5 NL game at Casino Niagara

Only reason I'm playing in this game are a huge LAG (villain) and a guy who has an affection for giving away buyin after buyin.

6 limpers to me in the SB, I call with K-2 offsuit (implied odds are ridiculous at this table). I check dark on the flop. Flop is 2-2-J rainbow. Pot is $35. It checks around. Turn is a K. I bet $25, all fold to villain who calls. River is an 8. Pot is $85. I bet $60, he raises to $260. I have another ~$150 behind the line. Push/call?

For the record, if I called I would have had another ~$150 behind. He's ridiculously LAG but he tends to give up when someone wakes up with a hand.

Yes. That's the last hand I'm worried about.

huge LAG (villain)

The only hands that beat you are (88, JJ, KK), and I'm going to take the chance that he raises all of these preflop, though it would be helpful if you mentioned villain's position relative to the button when this hand started.

I think his most likely holdings here are A2 and KJ.

i play the 1/2 nl there. the max buy in is 100$...just out of curiosity what's the max at the 2/5? is it 200$? i don't like that max buy in being only 100$ it makes you make moves too early with not-so-great hands IMO.

Villain is the button, my apologies.

I ended up playing the $1/2 game after our game broke...I agree that you have to make moves early, especially with the session fee eating up 10% of a buyin every hour. There just isn't a demand for anything on the "higher" end there. I ended up going to play the $5/5 game at Fallsview after donking around at the $1/2 for 45 minutes.

The cap on that game is $300, which sorta sucks...but it is what it is. $100 minimum. Session fee is the same.
