Default Be Cool (the movie)

So we ended up renting this over the weekend, in spite of me hearing pretty bad stuff about it. Well, all the bad stuff I'd heard was justified, I can't hardly remember last time I saw such a predictable, formulaic sequel. Every funny line or scene in Get Shorty is replicated minus the funny part. Seriously, did anyone enjoy this movie?

i enjoyed parts of it, but i also didnt expect much at all. i hardly considered it a sequel of get shorty, theyre such different movies. the part where cedric feeds his kids pancakes is hilarious.

and mongolian bbq is funny any way you put it. but most of the movie was useless.

I loved Get Shorty, and had heard how much this sucked relative to that. In a world where Get Shorty doesn't exist, this is OK, however, given that it does, this is just a pale immitation.

The Vince Vaugh/The Rock stuff was slightly amusing, but we've seen both schticks done better.

Not a great movie, but I enjoyed it. Vince Vaughn was hilarious, as usual. I thought the Rock was surprisingly good.

This movie you have to take with a grain of salt. Yeah, it's nowhere near as good as the first movie but John Travolta is still playing Chili Palmer and that in itself is enjoyable.

I totally agree with this, and usually will not watch his movies, but he's perfect for this role.

It is without a doubt one of the worst movies I have ever seen, like having someone kick you in the face for two hours. F uck you made me mad now reminding me of this useless piece of shaite. This movie is a crime!
