1) I don't know if he's raising his flush draw, but if he is, I want to charge him for it.

2) If he does have a weak Ace, I'm hoping he'll maybe give it up by the turn or river

You'd better rethink reason #2.

He'll only fold an ace if a third player starts going crazy, and even then only occasionally

If you think he has either a flush draw or an ace, he needs to have a flush draw twice as often as he has an ace for you to get any value from raising the flop. Actually it's a little worse than that, because sometimes he'll have king outs too.

Any read on CO?

Without a read I would just call down his flop raise and be prepared to check-fold if the 3rd spade hits on the river.

However, since no spade came on the river I would check-call and hope to snap a bluff from a busted spade draw.

Your effective odds aren't great, 2.4-1. You need to win the hand 30% of the time to call down.

Typical players at 1/2 aren't very tricky. Peeling one off and seeing a turn isn't horrible, but you don't have much reason to see a showdown here.
