Default Nervous with two pair

Ive been running over the table hitting good hands left and right when this hand came up.
Not been at the table long though, but villain seems loose.
I was naturally pleased with the turn card,
but got nervous when villain bet into me.

Sensible or am I a chicken?

I know the flush is scary but he doesn't have it and he doesn't need the flush to pay you off. I'd say he has KJ (maybe even AK) and will call around $3 on the river.

The flush didnt worry me.
Just the fact that he calls potsized bet on flop
(indicating that he picked up something there)
and then leads out on turn with a weak bet.
I got a sense he was hoping for a reraise,
or was worried a checkraise wouldnt work.

You yellow-bellied coward. Raise turn like a man. $1, [censored], he's KJ or some other shite. Push allin like I do and be stacked by J9. Really I've no idea, but to me it looks like he's mocking you with his $1 bet. Tell him you mean business.

You are right.
I have brought shame on my house.
I must stop reading posts from high/mid stakes.

I raise the turn, but when he checks the river, it's a crime not to value bet. That's a very weak bet on the turn, and I expect to see either KJ or a horribly played Q in that spot.

Very weak turn bet and then river check from him. Personally I raise the turn to about $4, but if you're just going to cold-call, then bet big after he checks the river.

I think you lost some value on this hand. Raise turn and definitely value bet this river. You are ahead of villan's holdings IMO.

This is really weak imo. Raise turn and bet river. If he goes raises you then you can decide what to do. You've got to get more money into that pot.
