Default In vegas now....some help finding big games and/or pros?

So I'm in vegas now, where are all the pros? The few times we went to the Bellagio we saw nobody who would be considered 'famous' in the elevated area.

On the weekdays, what times does the big game usually play? Is the game somewhere else now or some other event going on?

Thanks for the help, it would just be kinda nice to see it since every trip report i read alawys includes a lot of "Ran into ____ ____, saw ____ ____ play" heh

when I was there I had a clear view into the glass-room (I guess it's called Bobby's room) and after 8 or 9p or so I could see Barry Greenstein, Ciau Giang, Gus Hansen, Johnny Chan all playing in there.

Of course, this was during WSOP time so they were all obviously in town.
And I had seen enough famous players over at the WSOP (including playing at the same table with Huck Seed and Johnny Chan in different events) that seeing them playing in the big-game in that glass room wasn't really all that special by that point.

That's cool. I know its not that great but while I'm here would at least like to see the big game.

Perhaps I'm not even looking in the right place, the glass room? I just went to the poker room and walked around to the sports book area where you can see the few tables up in the elevated area. Is that the right spot?

Both times I went within 10pm and 8am and there were no "pros".

i only went a few times during my 2 week stay out there.

however, I believe the elevated area are the 'bigger' stakes games...while the glass room is the 'biggest' game.

If you are playing on one of the tables that is near the cashier's desk then you can look right in (it's to your left if you are facing the cashier's desk).
That's where I saw Greenstein, Hansen, Giang and Chan (and some unrecognizeables)

Well the pros are scattered about atm. I know for a fact that Sammy Farha went back to the middle east for a few months. You also have the Legends of Poker tournament at the Bike going on all month and the WPT stop at the Aviation Club in Paris coming up soon.

Nope, Bobbies Room is thru the glass door to the left of the cage.

Maybe everybody is at the Wynn.
