Default How was my opponents play here?

I know what I should have done differently on the hand (push the flop) but I'm more 'concerned/interested' to know what you all think of my opponents play here. Am I wrong to believe he should have folded the flop?

Why would you give him better than 4:1 to call on the turn? If I have overs, I'm calling in a lot of cases here with most likely 10 outs.

Push that flop with a vulnerable hand, and scoop.

Well with his AJ, he has 6 overcard outs, and the gutshot with the ace. If they are suited he also may have a backdoor flush draw. He knows with your raise that you are pretty much pot committed, so he is calling your bet with a 20% chance to bust you, and still get out if he misses. Its probably a bad play, but not too bad.

Just no doubt here, push the flop. The pot is big enough at this point to just take it and be happy, no need to get greedy. Over 33% of the time you are going to see an overcard, so just push the flop and either take down a nice pot right there, or make your opponent make a big mistake. Dont make yourself make tough decisions on the turn when you have an easy one on the flop.
