Re: Quads on the turn...
I'd say if you slow down on the turn, (calling the 3-bet), check raise the river. But because I am afraid of him checking through the river, I just go ahead and cap the turn, and then bet the river again. 2 bets either way, the former more reliable imo.
Hope this helps. |

But if you think you are a special little snowflake that needs a hug, you are in the wrong place. [/ QUOTE ] No... I just can never tell if someone is being a complete dick in this place anymore, so of course i'm gonna be a bit more defensive. I asked a question as to whether or not it's more profitable to do one thing in a situation as opposed to another thing. Whether or not it's rocket science is irrelevant that being said... thanks for the reply... I always wonder if on these huge hands I should just go crazy betting with them or not... |

Thats what so hard about these posts. It depends on so many things. I've had quads hands I have basically checked down and I've had quad hands I have capped every street. |

You didn't bet the flop because....????
I don't think you have to worry about losing any action on the river by capping this. Your opponent has a full house and isn't going anywhere. Travis |

Re: Quads on the turn...
when you gaybet on the river i think you nullified your turn call. if you were scared to cap (id do it anyway) check raise the river.

Capping the turn, you should. -Jaran [/ QUOTE ] of course, he shouldn't have even been in that situation to begin with. to steal another posters line, i hate the fact that this could have gone to the river with only one SB put in the pot. if you call this flop, it should be with the intention of betting the turn to trap. |

Re: Quads on the turn...
your Q kicker isnt the best, you could be beat by AT. Otherwise i cap the turn. You have the best hand Yoiu will not get drawn out on, cap it while you can.

Re: Quads on the turn...
I think it's better to cap and lead. He is not much more likely to raise if you call his 3-bet and lead the river than if you cap and lead.
