not raising here makes this hand tough to play,i'd hate calling here mainly because it's the bb and 2-3 is on the board,it would have looked like a bb special to me,and i'd have let this one go.
there are times i'll put good value on top pair top kicker,but in a 4 way pot,and being check raised all in,looks like trips or 2 pair,it's possible you'd be ahead sometimes on a player that you have pegged as really aggressively plays draw,but most often you'll be behind here when you represented top pair and get check raised all in.

I realize I should have raised preflop with my AJs in this spot (8 people remaining, top 5 make money).

In the scenario where I do raise, what should I do if I get pushed back over the top? Is this dependent on my reads...i.e. if I'm most likely up against a small PP or a hand like A-10 AQ AK?
