Default Which Trackball shall I choose??

OOOOOwwwwwwww my wrist have start to feel bad!!!!!

I have read that a trackball shall help my wrist! I NEED THAT!

I have looked at two models:

1. Logitech Cordless trackman optical
Which is a trackball where you use you fingers to move the ball..

2. Logitech Cordless Trackman Wheel
Which is a trackball where you use your thumb to move the ball..

Have anyone tried anyone of this (or someone similar to these)? Are they good?
Is it best to use thumb or fingers if you play alot?

Thanks a lot!!

Have fun!!!

I still use my old Trackman Marble FX, which is probably similar to your #1 (mine isn't cordless).

I'll never go back to using a regular mouse again.

Yes, mice are evil.

I use the Logitch Trackman Wheel--not cordless. I was getting stiffness and pain in my wrist. Switching to the trackball really helped. I decided to not get the cordless model because I already had a mess of cordless/wireless things. For me having a cordless trackball is a much smaller deal than having a cordless mouse because the trackball doesn't move around. I also like not having to worry about batteries.

Take care of that wrist.

Kensington Expert Mouse, I have used it for years and it is a bulletproof piece of machinery. I prfer the traditional square style, trackball with 4 buttons around it, could never use the other ones. Quality trackball!

Yeah, I do not like to have so much cordless either... The only reason is that my bed is preaty close to the computer so I was thinking of using the trackball like a remote control too

Noone have got any stiffness in there thumb or other fingers (deppending on which trackball you use) when you have used your trackball?

Thanks for every replay!!!! Love this forum!!!

I've been using a Logitech that must be similar to your #2 choice (don't know the exact model) for over a year now and have never experienced any thunb/finger discomfort.

I don't always have a surface to use a mouse (we move often) so the wireless trackball works best for me.

As far as the difference of using your fingers vs thumb, if people are not reporting joint probelms with either then I imagine it just depends on wich one you are used to as far as ease of use.

GOod luck!

I swear by the Logitech Trackman Wheel. I've got 2 wired ones and a wireless one. I can never go back to a mouse.

My only slight complaint is that the wireless one can be a bit flaky at times (but I think all wireless stuff can be). When the batteries are low you don't realize until it isn't responding well at a crucial moment.
