My wife saw this one day and I almost had to physically restraing her from choking the women. We don't agree with treating your kid like a dog. Maybe try holding their hand instead.

Tough to pass judgement without know more about the situation. Maybe the mom experienced a near miss accident or something. Or maybe the kid was deaf.

Possibly she is just a Nascar fan that knew she would get fall down drunk during the course of the race, and wanted to make sure she did not lose her kid.

Or maybe she just realized that in a large crowd of people, she could easily get separated from her son regardless of how closely she watched him.

The leash is bad enough. Making him wear a Jeff Gordon shirt clearly is going way too far. Poor kid.
