i have no interest in building a pot oop with this hand. overcards will call an "obvious bluff" and half of the deck is a scare (any card greater than 8). Yes, I'm exaggerating somewhat.

If you want to squeeze out the extra value Grimstarr is right you can lead the flop, check/call turn.

IMO in situations like this the EV in betting and the EV in check/calling are about the same, betting might be slightly higher.

edit: and a jack kicker is no kicker.
