Re: 22 - AQo Level 1 missed flop
Ehh. I usually don't like to CB against 2 opponents unless I'm very sure that they will fold. I'd say a half pot CB on either the flop or the turn is acceptable. Checking down is also acceptable.

Just fold preflop.

Just fold preflop. [/ QUOTE ] I think you're way too tight, man. AQ is playable from any position unless you're facing a raise. It may be a difficult hand to play, but it's definately +EV to play it. |

Re: 22 - AQo Level 1 missed flop
I probably would have bet a little more pre-flop. 75 sounds about right to me. Also, this may have narrowed you down to one caller making a CB bet on the flop more liely to succeed.
I would have CB on the flop into two opponents (but keep in mind I'm an agressive player). The check here works as well. I definitely would have CB the turn though. |

Re: 22 - AQo Level 1 missed flop
I've heard the idea of folding AQo preflop before, but it just seems too tight to me. For those of you with an adequate data set, is it + or - EV for you?

Re: 22 - AQo Level 1 missed flop
I would limp pf from early MP, AQo is nasty to play OOP on the flop.
Folding doesn't even enter my mind. |

[/ QUOTE ] With no reads, crappy position and not that many chips, in a 22, AQo is disgusting at this level of the tournament. |

If he had a hand better than AQ, he would have raised unless he has a middle pair. Which means when you contination bet on the flop with overs to his MP, he has some serious thinking to do. Folding AQ here is way too tight. |

Full table with level one blinds I am chucking this
pre flop. Different table dynamics then I am making a play. |
