Default Scotch Drinkers

Ice/no ice? Water (obviously not tap)/no water? Why or why not.

Also, what is the least amount of money you'd be willing to pay (i.e., in your experience, has price been indicative of quality and/or good flavor at least) and what is the most amount of money you'd fork over.

So far only have tried one kind (Glenn Garioch 10 yr single). I like the flavor (lavender-ish) but wonder what I'm missing out on. When it comes to wine I like oakier flavors. Will this translate into Scotch as well?

I've tried w/ water but not ice. So far I like it the way it is best.

water is optional; ice is a no, since the cold numbs your tastebuds.

neat, no ice or water. I usually drop 50-100 for a bottle.
