Hitting up Vegas feb 27th-4th

Finally booked my vegas trip, got 5 days at the Mirage and airfare for like 430 through comped out friends. Anyway, it'll be my second time in Vegas, but the last time I went I wasn't 21 and just driving through. Anyway I want to know what the reccomendations for 5/10 and 3/6 limit games, as well as 1-2 NLs. I don't want a trial and error thing happening. This trip isn't really about making money, but it's more about having fun. On that note I wanna know what the night life will be like. We're 21 and love to drink and meet girls. Thanks for any info.

Aladdin has the only 5/10 Limit game in town. They run 3/6, 5/10 and 1/2 NL (200 max buy in). All are 90% tourists/fishy games.

Good times i will be staying at the stratoshpere the same time ur there..8) First trip to vegas myself tho.

One casino you'll definitely want to check out given what you've said is MGM Grand. Solid low stakes limit and no-limit hold'em games, nice restaurants, and two pretty decent clubs: Studio 54 and Tabu (which is some sort of "ultra lounge" -- maybe others could elaborate). If you sign up for an MGM players card right away, you can earn comp dollars there that can be used at all the restaurants, etc. Pretty good setup.

YMMV, and others are surely more knowledgeable than I on this, but the few times I've been to the Palms, the 20-something women have been pretty much off the hook in terms of hotness/ridiculousness. Thing is, its a bitch to get out there from the strip.

Last thought: the monorail is your friend.

*By the way, I'll be out there with some other 2+2ers Mar 3-5, so we may run across you at the poker tables. PM me if you want to meet up for some donktastic 2/4, as we'll certainly get at least one session of that in at some point.

very true, the women at ghost bar and rain are unbelievably hot. they are also for the most part severe gold diggers so be sure to wear your designer jeans and shoes and a pricey watch. its not by any means a bitch to get there though, its about a mile off the strip, which is ~$10 cab ride.

Avoid Ghost Bar during the week. There were zero hot chicks that weren't already with a guy. The rest were ugly and there was a whole bunch of leftover dudes. I left after 30 minutes.
