Default Star above people\'s display pic?

When playing at stars, very rarely above their displaypic, there is a tiny star - wtf is this?

Someone asked about this a little while back, IIRC it was something to do with that player also playing at play money tables (or having moved from play -> real $).

I heard it was something to do with them registering via the .net Pokerstars site.

The person downloaded the client from PokerStars.net.

My understanding is that that client cannot see the real money tables but otherwise is the same client in look and feel.

This is how they get away with advertising for Poker sites in the USA on television.

The site they reference has a client that does not let the player see real money or even turn on a real money feature.
