Default Blind Defense w 99

Context: Villain has only been around for a couple of orbits. So far, he's been playing a lot of hands and been pretty aggressive. My impression is that he would open-raise from the sb with anything remotely close. I don't know how much he's paying attention, but I'm having a very good session and may look like a bit of a bully. Probably running about 32/24 at the table because I'm getting a bunch of good cards. The thought crossed my mind that he may be trying to take me on.

Prima 1/2 5 handed

Hero in BB: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Folded to sb who raises, Hero 3bets, villain caps, Hero calls

Flop (8sb, 2players): 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
villain bets, Hero raises, villain calls

Turn (6bb, 2players): A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
villain bets, Hero ...?

Time to stop? Continue with calldown or raise? If I keep going, what are my plans for the river?

either raise and fold to a 3bet/river bet, or call down. I like calling down as it costs the same as raise/folding or raise turn - fold river. Plus you get to SD.

If your read is that he may be taking shots at you, I would just call this down. I'm not sure I could be totally confident in raise/folding the turn given that read.

What better hand are you going to get to fold with this line? If you are committed to showdown, then call down. But, the only hands you beat here are KQ, KJ?, QT? and a lower PP.
