Argh! I dropped a minus sign somewhere. You are right, both work out to 3/8. I believe the result.

I will have to think more about this.

By the way, I don't know if you considered the possibility of multiple equilibria. Though it's unlikely, it could be that there is another set of hands that satisfy the indifference conditions.
