Sturtze threw no more than 15 pitches in any game from the 6th thru the 11th. On the 5th he threw 20, but he didn't work on the 4th. He did throw 39 pitches on the 3rd.
But I see your point. The team is pitching-poor, so I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.
