He plays this a lot like a FD. You made him pay the incorrect price and he got lucky. Good fold, though in the heat of battle I would probably incorrectly call.

looks like a good fold, if you think he's on a flush draw, the just go with it.. also if he was bluffing he'd go all-in and try to push you out.. his bet of 500 (1/2 stack) looks strong
