3/6: The steal cap, check behind flop line
Villian is 57/17/.8 over 70 hands, he's loose but I havent seen him get too out of line post flop. Hard to tell what the cap means.

Re: 3/6: The steal cap, check behind flop line
i think im just checking this one the whole way, folding if i don't hit an A...
preflop capper checking behind on this flop probably means a monster... a hand like 99-JJ is also possible, but im not confident you can get a fold from this opponent... |

Re: 3/6: The steal cap, check behind flop line
Given the preflop action, this guy either has KK or QQ (these types of players will frequently slowplay when they flop a set after capping preflop), or he's got something like JJ and he's afraid of the board (but he's not going to fold if you bet).
I would just check it down and fold if I didn't hit an ace. |

Re: 3/6: The steal cap, check behind flop line
There's practically no chance that you're ahead. After you check the flop, the probability that this guy will fold his hand is nearly as low. Just let this one go.

[/ QUOTE ] Welp, I check folded the turn, but somehow that just felt really weak to me and Ive been getting run over in the blinds lately. Thanks for the confirmation though |

Re: 3/6: The steal cap, check behind flop line
I disagree with the 3-bet pre-flop. Your hand is not strong enough for anything but a call. Having said that, I would have bet the flop but folded if raised to. The turn is a check/fold.

Re: 3/6: The steal cap, check behind flop line
This is an easy peasy 3bet, especially against a guy with those numbers. If we assume that his pf numbers are correct, then he should be even looser/more agg on the button. Think about how large a range something like 65/25 is, and you'll see hero has him crushed.
