Default Please Post PT Stats for the Following!

I think these stats as identified on another thread are very useful in determining if you are running good or bad.

Under Misc Stats:

Check "Show only hands that were not folded".

Total number of 3 of Kinds.
Total number of STR8s.
Total number of Flushes.
Total number of Full Houses.

Total Times Total.

Win Percentage with Each of these premium holdings.

Also provide the total number of hands in your database.

Thank you.

I don't think looking at stats like this is going to tell you whether you're running hot or cold but I'll play along -

44K hands @ 1/2

3 of a kind - 318 times (74% won @ SD)
Straight - 152 times (88% won)
Flush - 200 times (81% won)
Full House - 205 times (93% won)

Thanks.

If you would be so kind to also just give me the total of the hands for all the categories. It's called Total Times Total.

By the way, don't be so sure these stats aren't somewhat meaningful. 80% wins is approximnately the range that others have reported in the past for STR8s, Flushes, and FHs.

Here are my win percentages:

3 of kind - 73.81%
STR8s - 76%
Flushes - 66.67%
Full Houses - 66.67%

I am getting each of the categories approximately the same percentage of the time you are based on all hands played, but obviously I'm winning much less often. (IMO smaller sample and bad run accounts for it). I think both of our "percentage of times" we got a premium hand is also a hair low based on what others reported.

Given that losing flushes and FH's are generally very expensive hands, I think this accounts for a lot in my case. It is also consistent with the feeling that I've had a lot of horrible beats this year.

What's the total number of hands we're talking about here? It also depends on table conditions, stakes, etc. If you showdown with a flush typically with just one opponent, your win % will be higher. If you showdown typically with 3-4 opponents, your win % will be lower, however your net $ on average is higher.

Win % is part but not all of the story.

How many hands?

It could also be that you are misplaying your hands by letting opponents in to draw out on you. I only say this because if you are dead stuck on the idea that you bad results are due to bad luck if they are in fact due to bad play then you won't improve as long as you're unwilling to improve.

Keep an open mind & be humble.
