TT line
all reads are based on less than 30 hands. so as good as no reads. UTG plays pretty tight, but seems to be willing to fold post-flop (no call downs yet). MP is very loose and either goes crazy or folds on the turn, nothing in between.

following hand
punking the loose guy (MP from previous hand).
Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is Button with 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 3 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls. Flop: (4.40 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) BB checks, Hero checks. Turn: (2.20 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) BB bets, Hero calls. River: (4.20 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) BB bets, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero caps, BB calls. Final Pot: 12.20 BB obviously the river helped the guy which caused him to go crazy. but in general, is this good? |

Re: TT line
I like it. What would your plan be if he called the turn? Are there any cards that fall on the river that you would bet?

Re: TT line
tough question... in hand 1, i honestly think that he is convinced that i have AA-JJ, and folds his AJ. so, i probably bluff bet any card except a jack.

Re: TT line
I like the play in hand 1. With regard to your comments, I would be real suprised by anyone folding top pair in this game on that board. I think it much more likely he has a pair smaller than yours, or running a semi-bluff on that raggedy board with overcards and position.
In hand 2, I very very rarely like checking in these situations. It definately takes special circumstances. Given the read: [ QUOTE ] MP is very loose and either goes crazy or folds on the turn, nothing in between. [/ QUOTE ] I think you could have won more by just betting the flop -- those rags are just the sort of flop where he might like to take a shot at you. Also, checking the flop here looks mighty suspicous - even to players you have no respect for - and can inhibit action. When players check the flop in these situations, I tighten up considerably, because it screams "MONSTER". |

Re: TT line
I don't see him folding AJ in hand one.

Re: TT line
Hand one seems good. No way he folded a better hand though. Hand two seems okay given the fact the villain will overplay marginal hands. Against a decent opponent though just bet the flop. It's far less scary than a flop check after a PF raise HU.
