I raise the flop to see where i stand/value.
If villian calls, I slow down.

Taking your line, I call on the river.

I dont like the way you played this hand. I would have put in a big raise on the flop with top pair and straight draw.

You need to play this game aggressively.

I would have also called the end.

and what do you do if reraised? hero has 38. if he raises to 4 and villain raises to 12, that sucks.

i am very rarely a proponent of calling flop bets, but i think it's good here. you let a worse keep betting and you get to see cards cheaply.

call the river and i would like your line.

The only reason I didn't call the river is cause I didn't see much here I was beating. When it got to the river, then I thought now what could he have. I'm thinking two pair at least.. KT, KJ, JT. The best I could hope for was K9 or a split with KQ, therefore I laid it down.

I've seen tons of people bet with 2nd pair or worse. Putting in a raise will letyou know if he's doing this with a legit hand or just doing it because you appear weak/passive.
