Sigh...im out..

Had about 13k. KTs in the button, folded to me, raise it to 600. Big stack in the big blind puts me all in. I know for sure he has nothing, so I decide to make a stand and call. he has 56o, hits a 5 on the flop, and im gone. Anyone not like this play? I understand it isnt textbook...but considering I KNEW he had nothing, was this a hand to make a stand against?

Time... you were a favorite before the flop... getting all your money in as favorite is always a good thing.

Time, need more info, like how much did you have in chips, and what were the blinds?

And blinds seem extremely irrelevent due to the fact he raised from 600 to 13k.

Oh I thought you meant you had 13k, but was whittled down and had to make a stand... That is a pretty big overbet, I don't know if I would call with KTs, but of course if I had been watching and the guy had done this before with rags, I would at the very least consider it. Its tough, because he might play a good hand the same as a bad hand. If you called him the times he has a good hand, you are in big trouble. With not a lot invested in the pot, I'd probably fold, but that's just me. If you had a read, and you were correct, I wouldn't feel bad about results, I mean even aces get cracked from time to time...

20k at 2nd break, things went good after the first break... Cracked a set of eights when I made a straight on the turn and doubled through. Defended my blinds against another big stack who felt the need to be table captain, but I'm not in the bully business (He gave up about 5k). If I get deep, I'll ask for some support =P
