Default Randomizing Plays

Sklansky once wrote about using the time to randomize your bluffs and other plays. I.e. if you want to bluff re-raise in a certain spot one third of the time, check your watch. If the seconds are divisible by three (i.e. 3,6,9,12,15, etc) make your play, otherwise take a standard line.

This seemed like a good idea to me, but I've never read any discussion of pros actually using this technique. Is there a problem with it, i.e. will Diablo catch me checking my watch, deduce my randomization strategy and synchronize his watch to help him pick off my bluffs?
