Default AJ in the cutoff

Party .5 - 1.00
I'm in the cutoff with AJo $100 behind, villian has $38(34/13/2.30)
I raise to $3 villian calls on the button sb folds BB calls the flop comes down
Js 8d 4h
I make a standard continuation type bet of $5 Villian raises to $10 BB folds I call
turn is( Js 8d 4h ) Kd
I decide to fire again betting $15 trying to look like the king helped me and just generally keep the pressure on.
villian is all in for $25 i call for $10 more feeling I'm prabably behind but you never know...
anyway it's the turn where I'm wondering what my best play was or should I have shown a bit more strength on the flop?

Pot the flop. And I would raise to $4 preflop. He's short stacked enough that it isn't terrible if you go broke with one pair here.

He's pretty short (button) I'd probably just bet enough to pot commit him on the flop.
