Hi. Been posting a while on the micro forum, and a little on the sportsbetting. I am interested in learning about the market, can anybody recommend a good book or two to get me going. I am starting from very little knowledge, like no lingo little. Thanks.

IMO, a great intro book is "The Neatest Little Guide to Stock Market Investing" by Jason Kelly. This brings you up to speed quickly and efficiently. When you're ready for some heavier books, two of the big classics are "Intelligent Investor" by Ben Graham (make sure to get the one with the commentary by Jason Zweig) and "How to Make Money in Stocks, 3rd edition" by William O'Neil. For other recommendations, simply search this forum as many superb readings lists have been posted in the past. Happy reading/investing.
