let's look at the history:

billy tauzin, recent la. congressperson, said it best:

half of n.o. is under water; the other half is under indictment;

adjusting for population; la. has the 3rd highest number of convicted public servants...lol...<no. 1 ... miss.>

by it's own ranking system: 47% of the public schools in n.o.are ranked: "academically unacceptable"..

now; which party is in control in la. ...you guessed correctly: dems

yet the blame is placed on bush, brownie, and republicans in general...

just think of the feeding frenzy among these politicians in la. : fighting over how to get a piece of the 10 bill plus...

what per cent of any fed money will actually go to help people who truly are desparate??

i do not know; but turning it over to the most corrupt political system in the u.s. is guaranteed to result in corruption snseen before; even by loooosiana standards..

look out mississippi: la. is gonna be taking over no. 1 from ya in convicted pols; real soon..
