Default WCOOP

I've been sending emails back and forth between Pokerstars. Basically I want them to run a PLO8 event. You can read how it all started as I've posted them to the live journal ( http://www.livejournal.com/users/ribmeister/ ). Feel free to email support@pokerstars.com and tell them to run one. It makes little sense why they would have limit O/8 and TWO PLO events yet no PLO8. The reason first given is that it isn't popular enough. WELL OF COURSE IT WONT BE IF YOU DON'T RUN THEM. Promote PLO8 and people will play it!

I'd be interested in supporting the cause.

Since I don't currently play at PS, do any of you know a good rakeback affiliate for them. PM me if you know one, or run one yourself.

They had a PLO/8 event last year. It's too bad that they aren't doing one again this year. PLO/8 is a game that's played almost exclusively on the internet, so it would make sense for the WCOOP to host a PLO/8 event. In fact, since it would probably be the only large scale PLO/8 tournament, the WCOOP could have determined an undisputed PLO/8 world champion.

Ribbo,
I emailed them about a month ago about PLO8 at the WCOOP. Their answer was an uncharacteristically terse "we are not planning on it". I then got tied up moving into a new house so I let it go.

I will email them again. I agree with your comments regarding 9-handedness and NL08.

I liked his comment "...with a limited number of days to run tournaments". Why is there a limited number of days? I understand their desire to have the big events on the weekends, so why not another week with PLO8 and a few other events?

Thanks for trying Ribbo,
AnyAce
