You know that Floyd has outsold both those bands by a mile, and possibly equaled their combined sales, right? This poll is a joke.

Kiss has outsold floyd. What's your point?

Had to go with family...my uncle was one of the many keyboardists for the Who.

He does piano musak now.

Kind of a stretch, but he's not in his 20's anymore.

Well, Pink Floyd is not Hard Rock, so I can't really compare them to The Who or Led Zeppelin. Aerosmith is the correct answer.

You are a wise man.

I agree with others that they are not mainly hard rock. Though they did do some heavier stuff way back in the day like the More soundtrack.

The Thirsty Scholar (great name for a bar!) at OSU used to have "Echoes" in their jukebox, so one night around 5PM I put $10 in and picked it for every song. When my roommate and I came back to start drinking around 10PM it was still going strong, and pissing the hell out of everyone.

Where the hell is the Thirsty Scholar? I grew up in Upper Arlington and I've been to nearly every bar (so I thought?) on campus. Does it even exist anymore?

If this were a Classic Rock poll, it would be Floyd, and it wouldn't even be close.

If this were a Hard Rock poll, it would be Tool, and it wouldn't even be close.

Since it's a Classic Hard Rock poll, I don't know who it ought to be, but I guess Led Zeppelin and The Who are good choices... AC/DC?

I voted for Zeppelin, but I like all three. I actually like The Who's early stuff better than their later stuff. The had a very distinctive, very British style early in their career. Later, the sort of devolved into a generic rock sound. When I was in college, Everybody had, and played Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon album, but I never got tired of it.

On Neil Ave. just north of W. Lane Ave. It's more of a grad student hangout, good place to eat and drink if you want to actually hear your friends talk, but very short on the co-eds. Which bars do you like/hate around campus?
