Default Copenhagen?

It looks like I'll be in Copenhagen on business around Jan10 - Jan12. Assuming I have as much trouble sleeping as my last trip to Europe I may need a place to play poker... are there any in the city?

Thanks,
FishNChips

Yeah, www.casinocopenhagen.com

Edit: Sucks that you only have a day, I hear bad things about teh cash games at CC, but there's an awesome club just a wee bit outsie of Copenha. that does tournaments, but it has a 24 hour sign up thing, which means it wouldn't be worth it for you. I'd love to hear a trip report if you do go to the casino, I've considered going myself since I go to Denmark alot.

Edit further:

Vi spiller Texas Hold'em split limit med en table stake fra kr. 2.000 - 5.000.

Casino Copenhagens to pokerborde er åbne alle ugens dage fra kl. 20.15.

Translated:

Table stakes are between 2k-5k kroner, abput $300-700 I think. Tables open 8:15pm everyday.

When I was there last year they were spreading a few games...100-500 spread limit dealer's choice, 100-200 NL holdem, 100-200 pot limit omaha.

All in kroner, of course. If I remember, 100 kroner is like $10. So, the NL game would be 10-20 blinds.

Things may have changed since then, and this was also during the Danish Open. So yeah.

Dear henrikrh,

Thanks for the link. I just got word that I'm staying at the hotel that houses the casino... so I'll stop by and play a few hands for sure. It sounds like the limits are a bit out of my BR, but I'll at least sit so that I can say I did.

Thanks for all the info and I'll post a (probably quick) trip report when I get back.

Regards,
FishNChips
