Default KK, OOP

I'm not going to flood the front page with hands, but wanted to post another KK hand where I was OOP. Last post today.

With this board, would you consider c/r'ing the turn after villains called on the flop?

Party Poker 0.15/0.30 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
2 folds</font>, UTG+2 calls, 2 folds</font>, MP3 calls, CO raises</font>, 1 fold</font>, Hero 3-bets</font>, 1 fold</font>, UTG+2 folds, MP3 calls, CO calls.

Flop: (11 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)</font>

not here.

that is not a card you want to check. if CO has AK/AJ you really do not want to give a free card here. he also may be slowplaying a Q, so when someone actually bets here, you're more often getting bets in against better hands.

mostly pull the sexy heads up against really stupid lags.

I bet this all the way. You are likely to get called down by an A high or even less at this limit.

No reasons to check raise the turn card. Someone may have caught a draw, and will call you if you bet. There is no guarantee that they will bet an inferior hand, so bet for value.

Grunching.

I would have played the hand the same. But what reads do you have these guys to even consider a c/r on the turn. The problem with c/r'ing on a board like that is if your opponents are ahead of you, with the obvious Q threat, they might want to pop you on that street (sometimes the river if the really like the slowplay).

So basically, you need to have really good confidence in that MP3 bets out, if you check. If CO bets, you raise, then you'll probably have MP3 folding...unless he loves to call two cold with any piece of the board, a lower PP, or a draw.

If CO bets, you raise, and have MP3 fold, then you will probably lose a BB. If you c/r only to get 3-bet, then you may lose an extra BB if you are behind.

Its a beginner table on party. Donk city. My reads are they are playing any 2 pf, which is a bit dangerous on this type of flop. I'm no great limit player - but I do study it - rarely play it and I'm trying to improve.

I understand ur point on the c/r and that was my thinking as well. Just trying to figure out if I'm missing some things.
