Default Internet Explorer wont allow me to open multiple browsers?

While I was reading the forms here the browser stopped working correctly. Everytime I open a new browser window it shuts down the one I'm in. Including clicking links that open new windows. It's closing the ones I'm currently using.
Checked all the internet options settings and nothing seems different.
HELP!!!

get firefox
With Tabbed browsing you can have as many browsers open as you need and its still just one window.

I'm not sure why IE Explorer is doing that, have you cleared the cache and rebooted?

Yes I have. I posted a message to an IE6 public newsgroup from microscam. I'm not paying $35 for one question to be answered throuhg their tech help.

I'll have to look at firefox. I know nothing about it.

Update:

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

Fixed it!

Glad to see you fixed the problem. I'd still check out Firefox (Mozilla) though. It's great.
