Perhaps he was trying to be amusing and meant that since you can verbalize this question, you should no longer be seeing your parents naked. If this is the case, it's a fairly meh joke; and if that isn't what he meant, then it's just a stupid joke.

You're not thinking very hard. If it's just you and your two year old in the house, and you both need/want a bath/shower, you can't just take your shower leaving the kid unattended and out of earshot. You bring him in and take one together.

I really see nothing wrong with it. All the examples above that are in favor of it are good circumstances. However, if you are in third grade and still doing it, then there might be a problem.

It comes full circle, initially at age 4 or 5 no more bare assed showers together, then when you are old and senile it is OK for the children to begin seeing you nude again and bathing you several times a day.
