I don't think it was the site...I think it was a network problem...no one else in my tourney at Pokerstars had any issues and the game went on in my absence.

I only had one guy that was in my tourney that had the problem and like me he was in the NY area. My internet connection was fine, only my PP connection messed up.

I was three tabling and only one table went down due to "Lost Connection". Other two were fine.

Just guessing that Party does something with the way its client connects to its servers so that each table gets its own connection and is routed through the internet on different nodes, perhaps to different servers. When my table came back up, everyone said they'd gotten disconnected and a few players said their other tables worked fine.

It'd be interesting to see an article on how the Party infrastructure and networking is setup. Unlikely to happen due to competitive and security reasons though.

due to possible blackout where ISP's are located?? sound feasible? I don't know. Up in Toronto we've been threatened by them the past couple scorching days. How was your internet connection during that down time?

Playing two tables, one had zero problems but I lost connection to the other table about five times for ~30 seconds each time. Others at that table also appeared to have similar problems.

Was I the only one who couldn't continue playing at the tables even when the connection was restored?
