Default 77 in reraised or capped pots +EV?

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 max, 10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7, 7.
1 fold, UTG+1 raises, 4 folds, Button 3-bets, HERO FOLDS, BB calls, UTG+1 caps, Button calls, BB calls.

In a low limit hold em 10 person ring game what pocket pairs are +EV when the pot has been raised and reraised? What position are they playable out of?

This question was first raised here.

I want to see the math that proves calling this preflop bet is a +EV. Does the more players in the hand make it better or worse. More people will pay you off better when you make trips but you also run the risk of making second set.

I'm having trouble explaining my question so feel free to ask for clarifications.
