Default wireless problem

I recently added a laptop to my home network and it goes out form time to time. At seemingly random times I will get the "limited or no conenctivity" message and of course I can't connect to anythign during this time. SOmetimes it comes back after a few seconds adn sometiems it come back after a minute or two. WHen I have this message I can still see the network with a good signal, just can't connect to it. Does anyone have any ideas?

apparently large appliances emit some kind of current that screws with the router. as far as i know there is no realistic solution.

I had this problem with a belkin router. It may be a crappy router or a crappy wireless card in your laptop. You should call the router company and laptop or card company.
